hi! i love your blog. what was the website you order your circle lenses from? and which ones would you recommend if i want natural looking brown/hazel eyes? you look good in them! i've never ordered circle lenses before and all the designs look crazy and intimidating. appreciate your help. :)
Thanks! I order from Pinky Paradise. They’re the best in terms of variety, product guarantee, & fast shipping. ‘Natural’ looking brown and hazel lenses are two totally different looks. Hazel/green never looks natural, I would recommend doing a light brown shade instead. I like the “Geo Nudy Brown” lenses for a lighter eye, and for a more ‘natural’ medium-dark brown color I would go with “Candy Brown”. I would also recommend pink lenses (like “Max Pure Pink”) — they have a soft, romantic look to them that I absolutely love. Good luck!
I love your eyebrows! How do you do them and what do you use??
I use the NYX auto eyebrow pencil in Grey. They’re available at most drugs stores for around $5. :) I get them waxed every few weeks and I’m in the process of getting to the “straight brow” Korean style. I think it goes better with my features and my face shape.
Where did you get your whole outfit in that xmas eve picture??? so cute! (:
Thank you! The cardigan is vintage (my mom handed it down to me), the graphic tee is from urban outfitters, the pants are BDG high waisted pants in beige from urban outfitters, and the shoes are from forever 21.
You mentioned that you straighten your hair for styling, what kind of straightener do you use? Or have you gotten your hair straightened at a salon? Your hair looks so healthy! I've always wanted to start straightening my hair, but have been nervous about the damage it can do >.<
I use the Sephora collection tourmaline flat iron. My hair is naturally kind of wavy due to years of hair damage. Although my hair isn’t all that healthy, it’s getting much better due to good shampoo & hair care. As long as you dont straighten your hair every single day & fry it (you can actually see it frying and you’ll be able to smell burning hair) then your hair will be fine. Hair styling tools have advanced so much, just do it in moderation. ^__^
If you have some time to spare, do you think you could post some style tips for winter outfits? I'm going to Seoul this winter and I have no idea how to wear winter clothes... T__T Thank you so much! Keep up the blog! You have great style and interesting posts ^_^
Of course! :) I haven’t been to Korea since I first moved to America in the 90’s, so I don’t know how to dress in 0-10 degree weather… The most important thing about winter fashion is layering. Simple basics (long sleeve tees, henleys, etc.) are great for layering, and layers give you an opportunity to experiment with colors. I like to stick with neutrals generally, and accent it with a bright color (I’m really into green this season). For the bottoms, stick with skinny-style pants because your upper portion will be so bulky. Leggings under black cotton pants should be good. Boots are a must, so invest in a great season pair. Beanies are really cute too, they’re an easy way to pack a punch of color. Pink is always good. :) I hope this helps! & Thank you for your kind words ~
