Happy 6 months, handsome.♡
February 2011
I’d like to think that every day I become a better version of myself. So yeah, I consider myself to be better than my yesterday-self each and every day.
fuckin lauren. lol <3
I got my first two tattoos done at a friend’s friend’s house in California, the third tattoo at a random tattoo parlor in Pearl City, and the fourth tattoo I got at a random tattoo parlor in the sf valley. I can’t recall the names of the shops, it’s been years ><
I don’t know any good places personally, but I’m sure Yelp could help you out with that one. & As far as white ink goes, it really depends on your skin. Sometimes white ink doesn’t show up at all on certain skin types, and other times it absorbs really well. Luckily mine absorbed the ink really well, and is pretty clear even though the detailing of the design is so thin. It’s been about a year since I got the white ink tattoo and it’s holding up really great. All tattoos are permanent, so I’m not sure how to answer your question about if it’s going to fade or not… I mean it’s not supposed to fade, but depending on my skin who knows what’ll happen in ten years? Also, If you do decide to go with white ink, be sure to keep it simple & go to a shop that will retouch it for you if the ink doesn’t turn out the way you want it to. My white ink tattoo is my favorite, it’s so subtle and most people don’t even notice it until someone points it out. :) I definitely recommend it!
I don’t get out much, to be honest.
I work four days a week, have internship commitments, and I am a full time student. The only real free time I have is during the weekends, in which I generally just catch up on sleep & watch a bunch of anime all day. I go to the movies a lot, maybe once every week or so. As far as going out and “partying” is concerned, I go out to celebrate birthdays & special occasions, but rarely do I go out more than once a month. I’m not 21 yet and don’t have a fake ID so I don’t go out with my friends when they go out to night clubs and bars… haha sorry i’m not of much help :( When my friends go out, they generally stick to the bars in chinatown like Soho, or they go to Crazybox if they feel like clubbing.
I really love Lindsay Lohan, it’s really too bad she’s a fucking idiot and drove her A-list career straight into the ground.
Haha thanks, but I don’t think I’m considered “so skinny.” More along the slimmer side, but I’m a far cry from being super thin. I don’t count calories, and I don’t exercise at all besides walking around campus. I answered a question similar to this a day or two ago, check there for more info about my eating habits ^__^
Lauren, or “ellekae,” is a good friend of mine that I met in high school. After graduation we moved to California together, and lived together for a year in Los Angeles. We both moved back to Hawaii last summer, and I lived with her for a few months after that. We no longer live together, but remain friends. :)
Thanks :) My boyfriend and I went to the same high school, and although we knew of each other we didn’t officially meet until spring break of last year while I was back home for a week. We hang out with the same people, so it was inevitable that we became friends. Although we started out as friends, when I moved back last summer it just sort of… clicked. I was enjoying being single and didn’t want to be in a relationship, but when I realized that he was the nicest most kindhearted person I’ve ever met… I couldn’t let that pass me by, you know? :)
I’m not on a specific diet, I just try to eat healthy when I can.
I grew up eating mostly korean food… Lots of vegetables, meat, fish, and rice. I like the taste of brown rice better, & it just so happens that it is a lot healthier for you than white rice, so I guess I lucked out on that one? haha
I generally don’t like most dairy products, so I don’t really eat that much ice cream, cookies, etc… Once in awhile I’ll get a craving for sweets, so I’ll have a bar of dark chocolate or a cookies&cream chocolate bar.
I don’t really drink much soda, I just drink a lot of unsweetened iced tea & diet coke (or an occasional icee). I’ve always loved the bitter taste of tea, & one of my ex boyfriends got me hooked on diet coke & I’ve gotten to love the taste of it now. Both have zero calories, & I know that diet coke is horrible for you because of the artificial sweetener… but it’s just something I really can’t give up. lol ><
& Here’s probably the biggest thing: I usually don’t eat fast food. Once in awhile when I’m in a rush to get to work and I have no option besides fast food or starve, I grab myself a taco bell gordita or something. When you starve your stomach, you fuck up your metabolism so you’ll actually end up gaining weight in the long run. Also, I’m a sucker for french fries, so they’re the only exception when it comes to fast food.
Thanks! :) My hair is really easy to take care of, now that it’s relatively short and black. I use shampoo & conditioner specially formulated colored hair (I don’t really have a specific brand I stick with). I use Aussie’s deep conditioner once in awhile, whenever I feel that my hair is a bit too dry. As far as actual treatment for my hair I use Paul Mitchell’s Super Skinny Serum to keep my hair straight, because my hair is naturally wavy. I also use a smoothing cream I picked up at a beauty store in LA, but any smoothing cream is sure to do the job.
I’m planning on just growing out my hair a little longer, maybe about two or three more inches. I’m planning on having black hair for the rest of my life, haha… Too much dyeing of the hair has happened in the past 8 years. I honestly couldn’t count how many times I’ve dyed my hair even if I tried.
My biggest tip for hair care? Don’t overdye your hair. ><
I think I found my number one fan!
I let it fall, my heart,
And as it fell, you rose to claim it,
It was dark and I was over,
Until you kissed my lips and you saved me,
My hands, they were strong, but my knees were far too weak,
To stand in your arms without falling to your feet,
But there’s a side to you that I never knew, never knew,
All the things you’d say, they were never true, never true,
And the games you’d play, you would always win, always win,
But I set fire to the rain,
Watched it pour as I touched your face,
Well, it burned while I cried,
‘Cause I heard it screaming out your name, your name,
When laying with you I could stay there,
Close my eyes, feel you here forever,
You and me together, nothing is better,
‘Cause there’s a side to you that I never knew, never knew,
All the things you’d say, they were never true, never true,
And the games you’s play, you would always win, always win,
But I set fire to the rain,
Watched it pour as I touched your face,
Well, it burned while I cried,
‘Cause I heard it screaming out your name, your name
I set fire to the rain,
And I threw us into the flames,
Well, I felt something die,
‘Cause I knew that that was the last time, the last time,
Sometimes I wake up by the door,
And heard you calling, must be waiting for you,
Even that when we’re already over,
I can’t help myself from looking for you,
I set fire to the rain,
Watched it pour as I touch your face,
Well, it burned while I cried,
‘Cause I heard it screaming out your name, your name
I set fire to the rain,
And I threw us into the flames,
Well, I felt something die,
‘Cause I knew that that was the last time, the last time, oh,
Oh, no,
Let it burn, oh,
Let it burn,
Let it burn.
